Epidemiological and Immunological Aspects of COVID-19

The purpose of this study is to describe the epidemiology, clinical features, and immunological response to SARS-CoV-2 infection and develop new diagnostic tests.

What will be asked of you

For Those who TEST POSITIVE: - 5 in-person visits at the UNC Adams School of Dentistry: a baseline visit, with follow-up visits at 1-, 3-, 6-, and 12-months after baseline - Surveys administered at each in-person visit - Sample collection of blood draw, urine, saliva, throat gargle, and nasal swab at each in-person visit - $75 Visa gift card as compensation for each in-person visit For Those who TEST NEGATIVE: - Telephone visit to enroll in the study - One in-person visit at the UNC Adams School of Dentistry approx. one month after initial telephone call - In-person visit will include a blood draw
