The purpose of the FAMLI Study is to develop a simple and inexpensive ultrasound tool that may be used to assist in performing ultrasound exams on pregnant women. In countries where medical resources are limited, this technology could provide detailed information on the wellbeing of the baby and mother. The images from the ultrasounds will be used to train artificial intelligence / deep learning models to estimate gestational age and other diagnoses.
All study procedures can be completed during a 1 hour appointment. If you are interested, you may return for future ultrasounds as long as the scans are 2 weeks apart, unless you are asked to return sooner. You will receive printed pictures of you baby as well as a $30.00 gift card at each visit. Study procedures include collecting/reviewing medical history information, taking a weight measurement, and performing an ultrasound examination.
