This is a registry of childhood, adolescent, and young adult patients with cancer. This registry is for anyone diagnosed with cancer before the age of 40 years to establish a UNC-based resource for the prospective study of the long-term, treatment-related effects, particularly the early aging effects, of cancer and its treatment.
At each visit, we may ask questions about your health, your physical function, emotional well-being, and symptoms. We may also perform tests to measure your muscle strength and draw blood. If you agree, we will store some blood for future research studies about chemotherapy, pediatric or young adult cancers, and other young adult health conditions.
