Improve Adherence to Childhood Cancer Survivorship

The purpose of this study is to learn more about how to motivate survivors to get recommended health screening after their treatment is complete.

What will be asked of you

If you decide to take part in this study, you will be asked to take part in 1 of 2 programs to get recommended annual health screenings. Neither you nor the study doctor will choose what treatment you get. One of the programs will ask you to visit the survivorship clinic at their treating cancer center for recommended annual health screening. The other program will ask you to do the same, in addition, you will have a brief virtual health education consult, and receive ongoing remote education on topics of interest through MyChart.

Looking for Specific Volunteers

Able to participate:

  • You were treated with chemotherapy and/or radiation
  • It's been 2-4 years after completion of all cancer-related therapy
  • You are cancer-free with a life expectancy of ≥2 years
  • You've had no previous attendance at a specialty survivorship clinic

Not eligible if:

  • Active and severe medical problems and cannot receive survivorship care
