What will be asked of you

Your child's participation in this study will involve: 1. Completion of two surveys. Survey one will ask for demographic information about your child including geographic region, race, and age range. Survey two will ask questions specific to their experiences with resources and healthcare related to autism and gender diversity and ask for feedback on existing practices that may be used in a support group curriculum. They may skip any questions and stop participation at any time. 2. Some participants in the survey will be asked to participate in a follow up interview about their experiences via Zoom and/or review a draft of the support group curriculum and provide feedback. At the end of the survey, they will be asked if being contacted about these future research activities is ok. They will need parental permission to participate. You will be sent a $20 gift card via email for your child's participation. You may also complete the parent survey and receive a $20 giftcard yourself.
