In this study, we want to learn more about the experiences and activities of high school-aged youth after a neurological event. This study will also help us to understand the perspectives of youth and a parent/caregiver through photos and stories.
This study looks at how high school-aged youth participate in their daily routines and activities. The researcher may spend between 3-6 months with each family. For this study, the researcher will join youth during activities at at least three different places (example: home, school, and in your community). The researcher may also complete two interviews with the teenager and two interviews with a parent/caregiver. One of the interviews may be a photo interview where participants take photos over the span of two weeks and then tell the researcher stories about the photos.
