The overarching aim of the broader research project is to evaluate health insurance enrollment assister (aka Navigator) programs in North Carolina and document the additional support Navigators provide clients beyond assistance with health insurance. This portion of the study involves interviewing health insurance navigators about their experiences, particularlly regarding: 1. Types of support (health insurance and non-health insurance-related) 2. Challenges and best practices of supporting members 3. Strategies for reaching marginalized communities

To examine the characteristics of nursing faculty onboarding programs, the barriers and facilitators to implementation, and the value of those programs in achieving key outcomes.

Many genetic counselors work at universities where academic publishing is important for career advancement. In other disciplines, writing groups have been used to increase writing productivity and confidence in writing and publications skills. There is a lack of information about writing group use among genetic counselors. This study aims to understand the goals and experiences of genetic counselors participating in a Summer writing group.

The purpose of this study will be to explore the recordkeeping practices of college students who have experienced the death of a loved one. The recordkeeping practices will be generally defined as actions taken to collect and maintain objects, photographs, and other memorabilia, both physical and digital, in remembrance of the deceased. This non-generalizable study serves to create avenues of awareness within the library science community regarding bereaved college students, identifying potential methods of support that can be provided from the field and areas of collaboration with other specialties.

I am looking to see if meaningful social interactions play an important role in the lives of gig workers. I am specifically looking to see if interactions between worker and customer have profound affect on the well-being of gig workers.

The purpose of this study is to understand how well Mandarin-speaking individuals in North Carolina know about CPR, how confident they feel about doing it, and what challenges they face in learning it. CPR is an important skill that can help save lives during emergencies, but some people may not have access to training because of language barriers or other difficulties. By learning more about these challenges, we can find better ways to offer CPR training that meets their needs. This study will help make CPR education easier and more available for Mandarin-speaking communities.

The purpose of this study is to understand how employees behavior is impacted by their resilience.

This project helps UNC Health support the health and happiness of people in North Carolina by growing local businesses and sharing wealth. We plan to do this by 1) learning how UNC Health's 14 places feel about buying things, especially from diverse and green businesses; and 2) getting all UNC Health places to agree on supporting small, local, and diverse businesses.

To study the effects of nasal surgery on snoring, if it improves it or not? how many patients would benefit from nasal surgery to improve their snoring? how much would nasal surgery improve snoring?

This study has two objectives. The first is to determine how authentic assessment is currently used in dental school curriculums. The second is to assess what potential barriers might limit the implementation of authentic assessment in more courses. Course directors will be surveyed on their use and barriers to use of authentic assessment to address these objectives.
