The Gut Microbiome in Recipients of CAR-T Cell Therapy

The purpose of this study is to understand how your gut plays a role in how well CAR T cell therapy works. Your gut is home to bacteria, which we call the gut microbiome. The gut microbiome can send signals to your immune cells, which may impact how well and how long CAR T cell therapy will last. We can find out what type of bacteria are in your gut microbiome by studying your stool. We can understand more about the signals sent to the immune system by studying your blood. We will ask for stool and blood at the same time points throughout your treatment. We will study the identities and function of the bacteria and immune cells to understand more about how these signals work during CAR T cell treatment.

N-803 With and Without Combination bNAbs

The purpose of this study is to investigate if N-803, a new experimental drug that stimulates the immune system, is safe and tolerable when given alone and in combination with two new experimental drugs that are antibodies (natural proteins that the body makes in response to an infection) to HIV (the virus that causes AIDS), VRC07-523LS and 10-1074. This study will also look at how well HIV is controlled after stopping anti-HIV medications (also known as "ART") in persons who received N-803 alone or N-803 with VRC07-523LS and 10-1074.

Pathway to assessing readiness for interprofessional education and collaboration in clinical sites

Interprofessional education experiences is now an integral part of accreditation criteria for health professional schools, and as a result, programs have had to implement interprofessional learning opportunities for all students. While strong models exist for didactic interprofessional training, there is a great need for interprofessional practice opportunities for students to apply the skills that they are learning. The practice environment often varies in how collaboration is viewed, and therefore, students may feel there is a gap between the 'ideal' collaborative environment of which they have been taught, and the reality of the practice setting. This can cause frustration for students, preceptors, and faculty. There is a great need to develop an assessment of the interprofessional clinical learning environment and to provide sites with the skills needed to maximize collaborative practice and learning opportunities. Additionally, a site assessment process can help clinical sites better prepare for improving current learning processes.
