Case Study in the Efficacy of Farm to Food Bank programs in North Carolina

I am conducting a case study to evaluate the efficacy of federal Farm to Food Bank funding in reducing farm level food loss in North Carolina. I will conduct semi-structured interviews to gather qualitative data into the efficacy of the program, and use secondary data analysis to evaluate the applicability of the data to other farms in North Carolina and to farm to food bank projects in other states.

Liver Surgery Study

The purpose of this research study is to interview patients with fatty liver disease who are planning to have liver surgery. Our goal is to understand patients' health beliefs with fatty liver disease and what weight loss behaviors they would be willing to follow prior to surgery. The Perception of Archaeology and Archaeologists Among Elementary and Middle School Teachers at the Archaeological Site of Sardis

The purpose of this study is to meet with elementary school homeroom teachers and middle school social science teachers within the district of Salihli-Turkey and document their knowledge and perceptions regarding the archaeological site of Sardis, archaeology, and archaeologists. The long-term goal of this research is to utilize the data collected to establish a foundation for the development of teacher training programs on archaeological site of Sardis, break teachers' prejudices against the discipline of archaeology, and foster a sense of trust towards international archaeologists actively excavating in this area.
