Purpose: To qualitatively evaluate the Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills Training (DBT-ST) group as an intervention for adults with autism and co-occurring mental health conditions. Participants: Participants for this study will include approximately 25 autistic adults and fourteen to fifteen clinicians who have participated in or administered DBT-ST groups. Procedures (methods): DBT-ST implementation and patient outcomes will be assessed during an hour-long, semi-structured qualitative interview with both autistic adults and clinicians. Analyses will examine acceptability and satisfaction with the intervention.
Cities are hot during daytime in summer time - much hotter than their surrounding vegetated, often forested rural areas. This effect, the Urban Heat Island Effect, is determined by building materials, human activity, and urban vegetation. But how does it affect individual thermal comfort? We are interested in understanding relationships between temperature and thermal comfort in urban areas.
Domestic violence intervention programs (DVIPs), also known as batterer intervention programs (BIPs), are court-mandated and self-referred programs designed to address domestic violence perpetration through psycho-educational approaches and/or cognitive behavioral therapy. By building on the extant evidence base and conducting formative research, we will identify DVIPs that have demonstrated effectiveness and innovative practices, including the utilization of restorative justice frameworks, and assess their curricula, service delivery approaches, partnerships, and administrative structures. We will use this information as the basis to determine DVIP best practices, with the goal of improved outcomes in mitigating domestic violence.

The purpose of this research study is to assess the patient-level, healthcare provider/system-level, and community-level barriers to resolving abnormal mammograms and initiation of treatment of breast cancer in the 3 geographic regions of North Carolina: the greater Charlotte area, the Northwest, and the Northeast. These areas include the following counties: Anson, Cabarrus, Cleveland, Gaston, Lincoln, Mecklenburg, Stanly, Union, Edgecombe, Halifax, Nash, Northampton, Wilson , Ashe, Alleghany, Surry, Stokes, Watauga, Wilkes, Yadkin, Forsyth, Avery, Caldwell, Alexander, Iredell, Davie, Davidson, Burke, Catawba, and Rowan. You are being asked to take part in this study because you previously agreed to receive a U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved drug, idecabtagene vicleucel (ide-cel), for the treatment of your disease as part of routine care and not a clinical research study. You had the blood collection (leukapheresis) (pronounced loo-ka-fer-ee-sis) procedure, your T cells (a subset of your white blood cells that are part of your immune system and attack things like infections and cancer cells) were collected and genetically modified in a laboratory in order to manufacture the ide-cel T cells for your disease treatment. The ide-cel T cells that were produced do not meet all of the prespecified release criteria to be used as a routine prescription drug as required by the governing health authority (such as the FDA) where you are being treated. For example, the modified T cells may have a lower cell
