The purpose of this study is to understand the impact of Zillow and their machine-learning algorithm Zestimate on the real estate market. We will interview real estate agents, home buyers, and home sellers to explore their experiences with this AI system. This case study comprises an intriguing example of not only the transformative power of algorithms in society but also how AI systems may transform the role of real estate agents as knowledge experts, and how effective partnerships between different stakeholders and AI can be achieved or hampered. The proposed research project aims to dive deep into this socio-technical phenomenon, focusing on the concept of human-AI collaboration and trustworthy AI, and how this new technology is disrupting societal and economic practices in a systemic fashion.
There are 2 studies. In Study 1, we are interested in how employees respond to leader's behaviors. We will ask you to work with other participants in a team on a variety of tasks, also answering questions about your personality, perceptions, and behaviors. In Study 2, we are interested in how employees respond to leader's behaviors. We will ask you to recall and write about the most recent time you observed a specific interactions between a leader and coworker in your workgroup. You will then answer questions about your personality, perceptions, and behaviors, related to the situation you recalled.
Our medicine procedure service teaches ultrasound-assistance for lumbar punctures. We have developed a video-based electronic teaching module, as well as a spine model for ultrasound practice, to be used with this training. We plan to assess how this addition of teaching resources improves knowledge acquisition and retention and confidence in use of ultrasound for this procedure.
Entrustable professional activities (EPAS) are observable activities that need to be performed for a physician to meet the needs of their patients. This study will involve creation of a tool to evaluate assessment using simulated patient encounters for pediatric residents level of entrustment for Pediatric EPA 10, involving resuscitation and stabilization of an acutely ill patient.

This study will explore how eating behaviors may change among UNC Chapel Hill students who grew up eating cultural or religious diets when they attend college. The study will also look at how access to cultural or religious foods may impact student wellbeing and how the university can support students with accessing cultural and religious foods.
The purpose of this study is to help us understand what it's like for people who support alternative crisis response programs in Durham, North Carolina. This study will help us learn about the factors that shape how alternative crisis response programs are carried out and come up with ideas for growing these programs.
The purpose of this study is to determine if interpersonal relationships of LGBTQ+ identifying individuals changed throughout the course of the pandemic.
