Evaluating Visualization Design

This study will evaluate the relationship between visual components of visualization design (e.g. colors, shapes, sizes) and peoples' abilities to estimate different kinds of information from the resulting visualization (e.g., correlation, means, trends).

Assessing access to care following prison release - Provider Perspectives

Grocery shopping behaviors and the use of nudges to promote healthier beverage intake among low-income children

The purpose of this study is to understand the behaviors and attitudes related to online grocery shopping among parents with children age 1-5 years old. The aim is to develop online food retail nudges to discourage fruit drink purchases and promote healthier substitutes. The ultimate goal is to decrease consumption of sugar-sweetened beverages in childhood as these are associated with increased risk of diet-related chronic diseases, such as obesity and type 2 diabetes.

Multi-Center Randomized Controlled Phase II Trial of Exercise to Treat Chemotherapy-Induced Peripheral Neuropathy (CIPN)

Purpose:This is a two-arm preliminary efficacy RCT in 120 participants testing a 6-week home-based walking and progressive resistance exercise program (EXCAP©®) vs. standard care on CIPN, interoception, and inflammation. Participants: This study will enroll 120 participants receiving neurotoxic chemotherapy or have completed neurotoxic chemotherapy in the past nine months (i.e., taxane-, platinum-, vinca alkaloid-, epothilone-, or proteasome inhibitor-based chemotherapy). Procedures (methods): Participants will complete questionnaires, clinical assessments, and a blood draw at two time points: pre-intervention (week 0, T1) and post-intervention (approximately week 6, T2).
