The purpose of this study is to research the effect of different animal images in swaying viewers' intent to take action for the benefit of the pictured animal species. We intend to show participants pictures of animals in different environments with different emotional states and nature pictures and use survey questions to determine if the pictures affect viewers' intentions to help organizations that help the animal species pictured. We are hoping that this research will help those working on behalf of animal conservation in selecting pictures for charity work.

The purpose of the study is too explore the Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale-Third Edition (ECERS-3) from a lens of bias and cultural responsivity ​and to identify ways the measure can be improved to be more fair and culturally responsive​

To learn if one kind of treatment approach, either (1) endoscopic surveillance or (2) endoscopic eradication therapy, is better, the same, or worse for treating patients with Barrett's esophagus and low-grade dysplasia.

We are investigating how city governments in dry parts of the Western US manage the trees that grow in their cities. In particular, we want to know what benefits they seek when managing their trees, how they plan for successful management, and how limited access to water affects their management decisions. This requires that we interview City Foresters about their jobs, as they have primary responsibility over the trees in their cities. It also requires that we review the plans that cities make about their trees, and compare how cities with very little access to water plan for trees, relative to how cities with lots of water plan for their trees.

The purpose of this study is to understand what type of little cigar and cigarillo images with text statements are the most effective. We will show participants different images with text statements about little cigar and cigarillo products and ask questions about them.

Our team is seeking to bring RL@Carolina, the UNC Relational Leadership Institute, to resident physicians in the family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, and medicine-pediatrics departments. We plan to study the impact that the relational leadership content has on their feelings of connectedness and teaming.

Trauma informed practices include a wide range of potential policies and actions that schools can implement with the goal of supporting students better. I am interested in further understanding what these practices include and what effect they have on the students and staff at the school. In order to explore these questions, this study focuses on one school's experience with implementing trauma informed educational policies. Interviews with school staff will aid in understanding what these policies look like in practice, as well as their benefits and limitations.
