The purpose of this study is to understand how states can improve health information exchange for their Medicaid members.
We are surveying individuals with sickle cell disease (SCD) and/or parents of a child with SCD to get a sense of the types of treatment they would choose based on the harms and benefits of those treatment options. The proposed study will be designed to meet the following objectives: 1) Elicit individual respondent's maximum acceptable risk (MAR) for treatment benefits 2) Elicit individual respondent's minimum 3) Characterize heterogeneity in MARs and MABs among respondents
To evaluate the HomeLink program, which is a service designed to provide housing, case management and occupational therapy to individuals living with serious and persistent mental illnesses.
Aim 1: Among key stakeholders in NC impacted by HIV molecular surveillance (HMS) activities, we aim to assess the ethical concerns surrounding the implementation of HMS and related pubic health services and research by: 1a) Characterizing stakeholders' awareness, experiences with, and sources of information AND 1b) Examining perceptions, including perceived risks and benefits and other ethical considerations, and the opportunities for enhancement of community engagement practices Aim 2: To develop a community-engaged partnership framework to promote effective communication and community participation regarding HMS, and related health services and research.
The purpose of this study is to determine which new magnetic resonance sequences provide better, faster and more useful information. A sequence is a distinct method of obtaining magnetic resonance (MR) images. A magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) exam is made up of many different imaging sequences. These new sequences will be implemented on either on a 3 Tesla (3T) MR system, a 7 Tesla (7T) MR system (single- or multi- transmit), or both. Since the signal-to-noise ratio for MR images is highly dependent on the magnetic field strength, the anticipated signal-to-noise will be 7T greater than 3T and 3T greater than 1.5T systems. The 3T MR system is FDA approved whereas the 7T system is not FDA approved, but is built to the same standards as other FDA approved scanners. In addition, the FDA has approved magnetic field strength up to 8T for human imaging. Participants will be told ahead
