A Peer-to-Peer Research Tool for Early Modern Marginalia Studies

The purpose of the study is to survey researchers with established interests in early modern marginalia studies about the development of a peer-to-peer research tool designed to facilitate their research. The tool will match scholars in need of photographs of unique pieces of evidence from rare books repositories with scholars able to take and deliver those photographs. The hypotheses of the study are that a) there is interest in a tool like this and b) scholars with established interests in the area can contribute meaningfully to the design of the tool. The aim of the study is to collect information through a survey about the degree to which such a tool might be used, for what reasons, and by whom, and about the features and functionalities that users would like to see in the tool.

Equity in North Carolina Medicaid

The overarching objective of the UNC CHER Medicaid Equity project is to develop the capacity and vision within NC Medicaid, necessary to lead and carry out the work of equity reform in policy. North Carolina Medicaid is undergoing a transformation of services, launching several health care initiatives, including Standard Plans, Tailored Plans, EBCI Tribal Option, Foster Care Health Plan and the Healthy Opportunities Pilot. Each of these initiatives incorporate health equity throughout their design and implementation. To most effectively incorporate health equity within North Carolina Medicaid and elicit accurate responses, external stakeholder engagement is required to determine how Medicaid policies can be improved.

Moral Distress Nurses

The purpose of this study is to explore how moral distress impacted CCNs who actively engaged in practice during the pandemic and today. A quantitative survey design will be used to gather CCNs perceptions of moral distress using the Moral Distress Scale-Revised (MDS-R., Epstein et al, 2021); additional open-ended questions at the end of the survey will be used to gauge nurses' coping strategies and supports available to deal with moral distress. The open-ended questions will be derived from the literature, integrate the PIs observations, and used to complement findings from the MDS-R. The focus of this study will be solely on critical care nurses that worked through the COVID-19 pandemic due to the high-stress nature of that unit

Online learners' identity construction

The past decades have witnessed increased enrollment in university distance-learning courses. However, an extensive literature has pointed out various challenges, among which the lack of interaction and sense of belonging were among the top issues. Meaningful learning occurs when students feel a sense of belonging in a community, where all learners feel welcomed and valued. To join the online learning community and get a sense of belonging, learners need to construct their images and be a "real person" who can communicate with others through online interaction. The purpose of this study is to present how learners' identities perform and develop in the process of peer interaction in the asynchronous online learning community. As a result, this will provide understanding on how online designers and instructors facilitate students' identity performance to shape productive online environments.
