Long COVID among UNC CH Students

There is limited information among young people about a condition called Long COVID, where individuals have or are experiencing a symptom or symptoms of COVID-19 for 1 month or longer. Social Security Disabilitty Insurance and Health

All existing studies estimate the health effects of disability insurance based on reduced form models. This paper fills the gap in the literature by developing a model that allows the estimation of the Social Security Disability Insurance effects on health in a structural way. The structural model enables me to analyze counterfactual scenarios. In particular, I concentrate on the modification of the SSDI program that permits partial benefits for the partially disabled.
