The goal of the study is to study people's intention and their energization regarding general health behaviors. We aim to study energization as a distinct component of motivation. We want to show that people's energetic feelings about a behavior do not always correspond to their intention of performing the behavior.

The objective of the registry is to create a cohort of patients with NMOSD. This registry will be used for future research, as well as improvements to the diagnosis, treatment, and understanding of NMOSD.

The purpose of this study is to contribute to packaging design research by investigating how package design influences consumer perceptions of products.

Purpose: To develop, assess, and refine a brief electronic patient-reported outcome (ePRO) tool that can be completed weekly by patients with newly diagnosed breast and colorectal cancer to self-report progress from diagnosis to treatment initiation.

High school is the last opportunity a state institution can ensure its next generation has a solid grasp of their country's past and present, its core principles, and obligations of responsible citizenship. The 2022-2023 school year will be the second year NC students are taking the Founding Principles of the United States and North Carolina: Civic Literacy classes and high school graduates will be a mixture of those who have taken the new civics course and those who will be able to graduate without taking it as a requirement. This study is important because it is attempting to assess the current knowledge, attitudes, and feeling of recent NC high school graduates who have a range of civic education opportunities. Teachers also provide an important perspective as they are end users of many policy decisions and are at the heart of providing civic education to high school students.

The purpose of this study is to create a biobank by collecting and storing specimens, such as blood and tissue, along with medical information such as demographics and treatment, from a large group of patients with pancreatic tumors. This biobank can then be used by future studies focused on pancreatic tumors.

In partnership with the NC Injury and Violence Prevention branch, the UNC Injury Prevention Research Center has been facilitating a peer learning network initiative for harm reduction practitioners in the central Appalachian region for the past 3 years. This initiative, the "Sharing Harm Reduction Practices (SHARP) Network," is funded by the CDC's Overdose Data to Action program and is entering the final project year. We are conducting a process evaluation of the network to document 1) the ways in which the network has supported practitioners in their work and 2) how we built the network in case other regions would like to replicate our efforts. We plan to conduct 8 qualitative interviews with peer members to understand their experience as network participants.

The goal of this survey is to evaluate othe current practice across institutions in the United States by surveying Pathologists and Pathologists' Assistants about their approach to pathologic evaluation of bladder cancer specimens (cystectomies). This information would provide useful information about best practices for gross examination of post-NAC cystectomies and help standardize practice between institutions.

A study to look at the ability to administer two tools over telehealth visits and their effectiveness in assessing barriers to sickle cell care transitions from pediatric care to adult care.

The goal of this project is to revise an observer impression scale to assess the peer social competence of preschool children, examine the reliability and validity of the scale and its usability for teachers in early learning programs in the U.S.
