To explore cognitive burden perceptions among physicians with relation to case report writing. To understand impact of perceived workload on case report publication rates. And to identify infrastructure and AI-driven mechanisms to reduce cognitive burden among physicians in producing case reports and increasing publication.

The purpose of this research is to study the performance of a device called PrevisEA, an investigational device not approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). This research is sponsored by the maker of the PrevisEA device, Entac Medical Inc. This device listens to and records abdominal sounds which provides data that can help predict gastrointestinal impairment (GII). GII is a condition that is defined as the failure of oral re-feeding after abdominal surgery. This happens when any of the following events happen beyond 24-hours after abdominal surgery; • Vomiting • The need for your doctor to reverse the diet • The need for your doctor to place a nasogastric (NG) tube in you. A NG tube is a flexible rubber or plastic tube that is placed through the nose and down into the stomach. It can be used to carry food directly to the stomach.

To test the pay-it-forward strategy as a means of increasing rates of testing for gonorrhea
Cities are hot during daytime in summer time - much hotter than their surrounding vegetated, often forested rural areas. This effect, the Urban Heat Island Effect, is determined by building materials, human activity, and urban vegetation. But how does it affect individual thermal comfort? We are interested in understanding relationships between temperature and thermal comfort in urban areas.

The study team wants to use left-over tumor samples from this surgery to study your tumor and test new ways to fight it.
Participants in this study are asked to read a list of words, then sort the words into categories based on their vowel sounds (ignoring letters). We are trying to find out how different two sounds have to be acoustically before speakers consider them to be linguistically different.

We are collecting cerebral spinal fluid (CSF) from Normal Pressure Hydrocephaly (NPH) patients to generate a biosample research repository. This repository will be used to research CSF biomarkers for Alzheimer's disease that may enhance our ability to detect and monitor Alzheimer's disease diagnoses and progression.
