We are researching how and why business librarians form regional professional networks, whether informally or as formal, recognized associations.

This is a study assessing the impact of Geriatrics SCPs on medical student attitudes toward careers working with older adults and their career choice. The results will guide medical schools in whether to start or continue this type of program for medical students.

Entrustable professional activities (EPAS) are observable activities that need to be performed for a physician to meet the needs of their patients. This study will involve creation of a tool to evaluate assessment using simulated patient encounters for pediatric residents level of entrustment for Pediatric EPA 10, involving resuscitation and stabilization of an acutely ill patient.

The purpose of the study is to create culturally-informed sugary drink reduction messages for Black women. After they are created, we will test the message to see how effective they are at encouraging participants to drink fewer sugary drinks.

Our medicine procedure service teaches ultrasound-assistance for lumbar punctures. We have developed a video-based electronic teaching module, as well as a spine model for ultrasound practice, to be used with this training. We plan to assess how this addition of teaching resources improves knowledge acquisition and retention and confidence in use of ultrasound for this procedure.

The purpose of this project is to create and distribute a survey with the intent to collect data about the amount and quality of training critical care physicians receive regarding brain death (i.e., death by neurologic criteria). We are doing because teaching physicians about brain death is not standardized and the subject is complex.

This is an exploratory study, the purpose of which is to gather preliminary data to analyze related to understanding collaboration in multidisciplinary teams developing research cyberinfrastructure. More specifically, the goal is to investigate the use of information technology to externalize internal, also referred to as expert, knowledge in multidisciplinary teams developing research cyberinfrastructure as part of the collaboration.

The purpose of the study is to better understand PCD in adults in order to develop outcomes for future clinical trials.

We are investigating how city governments in dry parts of the Western US manage the trees that grow in their cities. In particular, we want to know what benefits they seek when managing their trees, how they plan for successful management, and how limited access to water affects their management decisions. This requires that we interview City Foresters about their jobs, as they have primary responsibility over the trees in their cities. It also requires that we review the plans that cities make about their trees, and compare how cities with very little access to water plan for trees, relative to how cities with lots of water plan for their trees.
