Additionally, competency using generative AI is expected to become a critical workplace skill across diverse sectors. Yet, few methods for training college students on how to use generative AI and assess its shortcomings have been tested. The purpose of this project is to adapt an evidence-based mental health intervention, called Friendship Bench, to address depression and engagement in care among adolescents living with HIV in Malawi. In this study, we will interview patients, caregivers, and others involved in clinical care to better understand how to make sure this treatment addresses the needs of this new population. Participants will be interviewed, individually and/or in a group. Afterwards, we will use this information to test how well this adapted treatment can be delivered to depressed adolescents with HIV.
