Assessing innovative wireless and wearable sensors for continuous blood pressure measurement in obese and super-obese pregnant women

Considering the particular challenges of obtaining accurate blood pressure measurements in these patients as well as their increased risk for diagnosis of hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, the primary objective of this study is to assess the accuracy and function of ANNE One in capturing hemodynamic and physiologic signals, and in particular blood pressure measurements, in obese and super-obese, pregnant patients and compare them to the gold standard of an A-line.

Green Infrastructure Planning in the Drought-Prone West: Lessons from Urban Forestry Master Plans for the City of Grand Junction, Colorado

We are investigating how city governments in dry parts of the Western US manage the trees that grow in their cities. In particular, we want to know what benefits they seek when managing their trees, how they plan for successful management, and how limited access to water affects their management decisions. This requires that we interview City Foresters about their jobs, as they have primary responsibility over the trees in their cities. It also requires that we review the plans that cities make about their trees, and compare how cities with very little access to water plan for trees, relative to how cities with lots of water plan for their trees.
