Targeted lifestyle change (TLC) group prenatal care for women at high risk for gestational diabetes

Do you want to experience a nurturing, empowering and wellness-centered prenatal care that helps you reduce the chance of getting diabetes in pregnancy? Then the Targeted Lifestyle Change (TLC) Study might be for you! TLC is specially designed to help you learn how to eat, move, and live for two during pregnancy to explore whether we can reduce the risks of diabetes in pregnancy. Compensation provided.

Eating Disorders Genetics Study

Have you ever been concerned about your eating? We're inviting adults in the U.S. who have ever had anorexia nervosa, atypical anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge-eating disorder, or avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID) at any point in their life to take our survey. No official medical diagnosis is required. Common signs of different eating disorders may include: restricting the amount or type of food you eat or eating excessive amounts of food in one sitting. Some other possible signs are making yourself throw up, using diet pills or laxatives, excessively exercising, or fasting to alter your weight. Only with your help can we the causes and potential cures for these disorders. Eligible participants who complete Core Questionnaires and return their saliva sample will receive a $30 gift card.

Iberdomide Versus Observation Off Therapy After Idecabtagene Vicleucel CAR-T for Multiple Myeloma

Have you been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma? Have you received idecabtagene vicleucel (ide-cel (Abecma)) CAR-T treatment? If so, you may be able to take part in a research study looking at for how long a new drug called iberdomide will keep Multiple Myeloma under control (in remission).

Using Race and Place to Improve Breast Cancer Outcomes in North Carolina

This study aims to understand how a person's race and where they live affect the quality of breast cancer care they receive. We invite Black and/or African American breast cancer patients and survivors from specific areas of North Carolina to participate in a virtual focus group. The purpose of this focus group is to get your feedback about maps and other tools our team has created to show how breast cancer care quality varies around the state and by race. We also want to hear your experiences seeking care in your area, and your ideas about possible reasons behind the patterns in your area.

An Open-Label Study Comparing Glofitamab and Polatuzumab Vedotin + Rituximab, Cyclophosphamide, Doxo

The purpose of the study is to compare the effects of glofitamab with combination of drugs. There will be two arms or groups. One group will receive glofitamab + Pola-R-CHP. The other group will receive only Pola-R-CHP. Pola-R-CHP includes: Polatuzumab vedotin, Rituximab, Cyclophosphamide, Doxorubicin, Prednisone

How does the way sugar enters the body affect brain glucose?

What factors influence how the brain takes in sugar to use it as energy? If you are between the ages of 18-45 years old and are healthy and of normal weight, you might be eligible to participate in this study to help us understand how the way sugar enters the body affects how sugar enters the brain.

Perspectives on queer family planning experiences

The goal of this study is to gather more information on the experiences of LGBTQ+ individuals during the family planning process, specifically as they relate to elements of stress and social support. This study will include any LGBTQ+ individuals who have gone through any part of the family planning process, as well as people who work with LGBTQ+ individuals, including (but not limited to) doctors, doulas, lactation consultants, and legal professionals. This will provide groundwork to guide questions in future research on parent and child health in LGBTQ+ populations.
