Physical pain among Black men study

In this study, we want to learn how we can increase awareness and availability of specialty pain care services for Black men. We will do this by asking questions about physical health, access to health care, decision-making, and factors that impact someone's health.

Polatuzumab vedotin with R-GDP in relapsed/refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma

The purpose of this study is to look at the effectiveness of a combination of treatments, polatuzumab vedotin with rituximab, gemcitabine, dexamethasone, and cisplatin (PV-RGDP) at treating relapsed or refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.

Assessing Social Predictors of health using artificial Intelligence to Reform EMRs (ASPIRE)

The risk factors that drive health are unique to various patient populations and different patient populations use different language to communicate their health risk factors. The health risk factors and language that patients use also differs by locations. We are holding focus group sessions with family medicine physicians, senior patients, caregivers of senior patients, patients experiencing homelessness, and patients experiencing food insecurity to gain a deeper understanding of the major health risk factors they face and the words they use to describe them.

Disinhibited Eating and Cardiovascular Diseases in Stressed Police Force: The Carolina Blue Project

In the Carolina Blue Project, we want to learn more about work-related stress, eating behaviors, and cardiovascular disease risk factors among law enforcement officers. If you work as a law enforcement officer in any North Carolina or nearby states law enforcement department, you may be able to take part in this study. We do not collect any personally identifiable information. Officers who participate in the project and complete the two required steps will receive a $100 Amazon gift card.
