This study aims to understand how the cities of Durham and of Chapel Hill have changed over time. It seeks to engage neighborhood level change and gain insight into placemaking and engagement with planning processes on a local level.
This study explores the physical features and everyday use of shared water, sanitation, and energy services in informal settlement, Nairobi. It looks at what these shared facilities are like, how people use and take care of them, and how they deal with problems such as flooding or damage. By learning from people's experiences, the study hopes to find better ways to improve these shared facilities in crowded urban areas.

This study is examining Medicaid "unwinding", which refers to the process occurring nationwide of states resuming eligibility redeterminations for Medicaid enrollees after three years of continuous pandemic-related coverage protections. Over 15 million people are estimated to lose Medicaid coverage through this process, with nearly half still remaining eligible but facing administrative barriers to renew their coverage. This study focuses specifically on North Carolina's experiences with unwinding, utilizing a case study approach.The study aims to explore the factors shaping North Carolina's response, challenges encountered, and outcomes thus far. It also examines potential solutions to strengthen Medicaid policy for future redeterminations.
To support Indigenous peoples who wish to better govern data produced about them by developing an Amazonian-centered approach to digital governance that can support Indigenous conceptions of the world and help reduce the risks of imposing non-local theories of value that serve interests elsewhere.

The purpose of this research study is to understand how students use ChatGPT alongside Google Scholar and the library catalog to conduct scholarly research. The study will consist of a survey, an observational study, and a short post-observation interview. The results of this research will be used to make general recommendations for library professionals to better understand and engage students' information retrieval strategies amidst ChatGPT.
This study is about how young adults use generative AI, which can create text, images, and more. We want to learn why they use these tools, how they feel about them, and whether using them is connected to their personality and mental health. Understanding this can help us know more about how these technologies affect people's lives.
