The purpose of this study is to find out if a medicine called finerenone in combination with a medicine called empagliflozin is a safe and effective treatment for people that chronic kidney disease and type 2 diabetes.
Feeling stress when you are dealing with a condition or illness is common. We want to understand what that stress is and feels like for Latino adults who have been told by a medical professional that they have prediabetes (or blood glucose that is higher than normal but not quite diabetes). Getting experiences with prediabetes will help up better understand how to measure it and help future healthcare providers better understand the needs of Latinos with prediabetes. We are doing this study to learn if exercise impacts the effect of social tasks on energy use and heart function. Since exercise may impact metabolic factors such as energy use as well as the impact of social situations on cardiovascular disease, we want to see how exercise impacts the effect of social situations on energy and metabolism, and whether this may affect your heart health.

Do you have gestational diabetes? Women with gestational diabetes can and do have health pregnancies and healthy babies, but it can cause problems for your baby. We are doing this study to learn the best delivery timing for women with gestational diabetes to improve the baby's health at birth. Compensation is provided.

In this study, we want to learn how to help young adults with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) with their exercise routines. We will do this by understanding the most useful resources to reduce barriers T1D patients face when exercising. This will help us inform future educational tools for those with T1D who are beginning to exercise regularly.
The purpose of this research project is to learn about whether a personalized eating plan designed specifically for teens with type 1 diabetes will help them better manage their blood sugar. This plan will be individualized to teens' unique preferences and daily routines. A dietician will provide ongoing support to the teen and family throughout the project
