Advancing Care for Type 1 Diabetes and Obesity Network Study (ACT1ON)

The goal of this research study is to help young adults with Type 1 diabetes improve both their blood sugar management and their weight at the same time. A total of 84 adults will participate in this study. If participating, you will be in this study for about ten and a half months. This study will compare three specific diets (low fat/reduced calorie, low carbohydrate/reduced calorie or a Mediterranean-based eating plan).
