Conversational Agent to Support Hypertension Medication Self-Management

The purpose of this research study is to better understand how individuals manage their blood pressure and medications and perspectives towards a chatbot, which is often called a virtual assistant or coach.

  • 18 years ~ 99 years
  • Male, Female

North Carolina (Statewide)

What will be asked of you

1 interview session

Incentives

$25 gift card

In-person visits : 1
Total length of participation : 1.5 hours

Looking for Specific Volunteers

Able to participate:

  • Have a diagnosis of high blood pressure
  • Are currently taking one or more blood pressure medications
  • Own a smartphone or tablet

Not eligible if:

  • Are unable to take your own medications
  • Are unable to attend an in-person interview at UNC
