Assessment of the barriers to completing frailty assessments

Our research aims to investigate provider attitudes about the current assessments of frailty, and the possibility of expanding the use of ultrasound for its assessment. Our study population will be providers who work with older adults within the UNC Hospitals system. This survey study will help direct future research efforts which will focus on the specific techniques required to collect ultrasound images and analyze them for clinically meaningful results.
