Long-term immunologic responses to COVID-19 infection and vaccination

We are collecting blood and saliva in a group of people including solid organ transplant recipients who have been infected with COVID-19 or vaccinated with a COVID-19 vaccine over a 5 year period of time to study their immune responses.

Age & Gender

  • 7 years ~ 95 years
  • Male, Female, Gender Inclusive

Visit Availability

  • Standard business hours (M-F, 8-5)
  • Extended hours (M-F, early morning or evening)

What will be asked of you

At each visit, you will speak with a study member and fill out a questionnaire about possible COVID-19 symptoms and any changes to your medical history. We will also be sending you a short weekly survey to assess any recent possible exposure to COVID-19.

Incentives

$50 per visit for the first 12 months, after that TBD

Total length of participation:
5 years

Looking for Specific Volunteers

Able to participate:

  • History of COVID-19 infection
  • History of COVID-19 vaccination
  • Planned COVID-19 vaccination in the future
  • Solid organ transplant recipient

Not eligible if:

  • Self-reported history of anemia

Looking for Healthy Volunteers

Requirements for healthy volunteers are different than for those with a specific condition. If you are interested in becoming a healthy volunteer for this study, use the below categories to determine if you are able to participate.

Able to participate:

  • Past COVID-19 infection or vaccination
  • Planned COVID-19 vaccination
  • Self-reported history of anemia

Not eligible if:

  • No history of COVID-19 infection or vaccination
