Biomarker study in Alpha-1 antitrypsin patients

The purpose of this study is to create a de-identified database of patients with Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency (AATD).

18 years ~ 99 years
Male, Female, Gender Inclusive

Standard business hours (M-F, 8-5)

What will be asked of you

At your first visit, you will answer questions, do lung tests, provide blood, urine and sputum and have a CAT scan of your chest. You will be asked to answer follow up questionnaires via phone every 6 months and come for an in-person visit after 18 months and again after 36 months.

Able to participate:

You have a confirmed diagnosis of Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency

Not eligible if:

You are pregnant
You have a history of cancer other than non-melanoma skin cancer
You have had a lung or liver transplant
