Physical Activity Treatment Study

In this study, we want to help Black and African American people who have had colon cancer, rectal cancer, or colorectal cancer. We want to see if an exercise program can help with cancer side effects and overall quality of life.

  • 18 years ~ 99 years
  • Male, Female, Gender Inclusive

What will be asked of you

Participants will be asked to wear a Fitbit activity tracker and be randomly assigned to one of two study groups during a 12-week intervention period. Participants will also be asked to complete online surveys and self-collect a blood sample using a finger stick lancet 3 times over the course of the study.

up to $165.00, Fitbit activity tracker

Looking for Specific Volunteers

Able to participate:

  • You identify as Black or African Americans
  • You were diagnosed with colon cancer, rectal cancer, or colorectal cancer
  • You own a smartphone
  • You have internet access

Not eligible if:

  • None
