Mycobacterium Avium Complex (MAC) Lung Disease Treatment Study

In this study, we want to learn if a new oral medication (SPR720) is an effective and safe treatment for Mycobacterium Avium Complex (MAC) lung disease

What will be asked of you

During these in-person study visits, you will be asked to provide samples of your blood, sputum (mucous that you cough up), and urine. We will take your vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, weight, etc.) and you will have an ECG to look at your heart rhythm. You will also be required to answer questionnaires during these in-person visits. You will also be asked to complete breathing tests to evaluate your lung function. Finally, you will be required to take the study medication as directed while you are participating in the study.

Looking for Specific Volunteers

Able to participate:

You have a diagnosis of Mycobacterium Avium Complex (MAC) Lung Disease
You have not ever received treatment for your disease or have previously received treatment, but not in the last 3 months

Not eligible if:

You have tested positive for HIV or have been diagnosed with AIDS
You have a history of a seizure disorder
You are pregnant or breastfeeding
You have taken SPR720 before
You are enrolled in another clinical trial or have taken any other study medications in the last 3 months
