Endometrial Cancer Study

In this study, we want to learn if we can lower the chances of your endometrial cancer growing or spreading by adding a drug to treatment with a hormonal drug.

  • 18 years ~ 99 years
  • Female

  • Standard business hours (M-F, 8-5)

What will be asked of you

If you decide to take part in this study, you will get megestrol acetate (MA) and ipatasertib until your disease gets worse or if your side effects become too severe.

Until disease progression

Looking for Specific Volunteers

Able to participate:

  • You have Endometrioid Endometrial Cancer
  • You haven't had hormone therapy in the last 6 months
  • You are able to swallow and retain oral medications

Not eligible if:

  • You have had treatment with an AKT inhibitor
  • You have diabetes that is not under control
  • You have a history of or presence of an abnormal ECG
  • You have active infection requiring antibiotics
