Experiences of Early Female Puberty

The purpose of the study is to understand the experiences and needs of girls who have early puberty to improve their care.

What will be asked of you

Participants will be asked to share their experiences with early puberty in a virtual, one-time Zoom meeting. The meeting will take 60-90 minutes. The meeting will involve answering questions in an interview and a short survey.

Looking for Specific Volunteers

Able to participate:

  • Your breast development started between ages 8-10 years
  • You are currently 18-24 years old
  • You were seen by a pediatric endocrinologist for early puberty in the United States

Not eligible if:

  • You identify as transgender
  • You have a chronic illness or disability that has an impact on your daily life
