Natural Disaster Human Displacement Study

In this study, we want to learn more about the impacts of displacement due to a natural disaster in the United States. We are looking for professionals with experience in climate change and disaster mitigation and for those displaced due to a natural disaster. Findings from this study may help us understand how state infrastructure may impact climate change resiliency.

  • 18 years ~ 99 years
  • Male, Female, Gender Inclusive

United States (Nationwide)

What will be asked of you

Participants will engage in 1-2 in-person or virtual interviews with the lead researcher. The initial interview is expected to take one hour or less of your time. A secondary, shorter interview may be conducted in 30 minutes or less.

Looking for Healthy Volunteers

Requirements for healthy volunteers are different than for those with a specific condition. If you are interested in becoming a healthy volunteer for this study, use the below categories to determine if you are able to participate.

Able to participate:

  • You have least 2 years professional experience n climate change, natural disaster mitigation/recovery
  • You have experienced displacement from disaster.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Able to complete 1-2 in-person or virtual interviews.

Not eligible if:

  • None
