Creating a Culture of Joy in Medicine

The people who comprise the healthcare workforce are our biggest asset. Joy in Medicine groups will maximize this potential for creating positive change through improving vitality and fostering meaningful connections. Group themes will include: • Mapping the Connection between Actions and Emotions • Identifying Partners in Success and Tracking Activities that Promote Joy • Getting Clear on What Matters Most • Social Problem-Solving

  • 18 years ~ 99 years
  • Male, Female, Gender Inclusive

North Carolina (Statewide)

What will be asked of you

Four 1-hour sessions will be held over the course of 4-8 weeks. Groups will start in the Spring at a time convenient for the group. Groups will be delivered either in person or virtually, depending on the preference of the group.

Incentives

$15 upon completion of questionnaires pre- and post- groups.

Looking for Healthy Volunteers

Requirements for healthy volunteers are different than for those with a specific condition. If you are interested in becoming a healthy volunteer for this study, use the below categories to determine if you are able to participate.

Able to participate:

  • Participants must be UNC healthcare workers or medical students.

Not eligible if:

  • None
