Aging and Word Prediction Study

In this research study, we want to see how getting older changes how well we can predict words.

Age & Gender

  • 65 years ~ 85 years
  • Male, Female, Gender Inclusive

Visit Availability

  • Standard business hours (M-F, 8-5)
  • Extended hours (M-F, early morning or evening)
  • Weekend hours, if needed

Location

United States (Nationwide)

What will be asked of you

During the session, you will be asked to complete a computerized task which will involve learning and making judgments about words.

Incentives

$15 per hour of participation, parking pass will be provided upon request

Total length of participation:
1 hour to 1.5 hours

Looking for Healthy Volunteers

Requirements for healthy volunteers are different than for those with a specific condition. If you are interested in becoming a healthy volunteer for this study, use the below categories to determine if you are able to participate.

Able to participate:

  • Native English Speaker
  • Ages 65 to 85

Not eligible if:

  • You do not have normal (or corrected to normal) vision
