Wellbeing of Military Soldiers Study

In this study, we want to learn how underrepresented soldiers stay resilient, fit, and healthy.

Age & Gender

  • 18 years ~ 65 years
  • Male, Female, Gender Inclusive

Visit Availability

  • Standard business hours (M-F, 8-5)
  • Extended hours (M-F, early morning or evening)
  • Weekend hours, if needed

Location

North Carolina (Statewide)

What will be asked of you

You will complete a questionnaire and have focus group discussions. You will share your military experiences and the strategies that have helped you remain resilient.

Incentives

Study results will be shared with focus group participants.

Looking for Healthy Volunteers

Requirements for healthy volunteers are different than for those with a specific condition. If you are interested in becoming a healthy volunteer for this study, use the below categories to determine if you are able to participate.

Able to participate:

  • You are an Active-Duty Military Service Member
  • You identify as a Racial or Ethnic Minority
  • You are currently assigned to Fort Liberty, North Carolina
  • You have experienced some form of adversity in your life

Not eligible if:

  • You are scheduled to relocate/PCS away from Fort Liberty, NC before December 2024
