Aspirin Treatment in Pregnancy Study

In this study, we want to find out if one dose of aspirin works better than another at preventing high blood pressure problems during pregnancy. We want to help both the parent and baby stay healthy.

Age & Gender

  • 14 years ~ 99 years
  • Female

Visit Availability

  • Standard business hours (M-F, 8-5)
  • Visits can be combined with regular clinical appointments

North Carolina (Statewide)

What will be asked of you

At each visit, you will answer surveys and take aspirin daily. The study also involves up to 6 study visits (virtual or in-person).

Incentives

Up to $75 in Visa gift cards upon completion of the study

Looking for Specific Volunteers

Able to participate:

  • You are pregnant
  • You have chronic high blood pressure
  • You have pregestational diabetes or type 2 diabetes
  • You have had a previous pregnancy complicated by a high blood pressure condition

Not eligible if:

  • You are allergic to aspirin
  • You cannot swallow pills
  • You are planning to take apsirin for a non pregnancy related issues
