The main purpose of the study is to better understand why some children get older and develop mental health concerns while others do not. We want to learn if the way children's bodies respond to challenging situations, experiences in early childhood, and child behaviors might work together to influence why some children develop mental health concerns. We hope this information will help researchers learn how to improve child mental health.
Study participation is over the course of two years where you and your child will complete one in-home visit, 3 periods of daily surveys that last for one week at a time spaced one month apart on your electronic device (smartphone), and 4 follow-up, remote interviews. During the baseline visit, children also complete a few games and tasks and wear a small mobile heart monitoring device throughout the assessment.
You and your child can earn up to $695 in a combination of cash, gift cards, and prizes
Requirements for healthy volunteers are different than for those with a specific condition. If you are interested in becoming a healthy volunteer for this study, use the below categories to determine if you are able to participate.
