Feasibility, Acceptability, and Appropriateness of Oura Ring after ACL Reconstruction

The purpose of this pilot study is to evaluate the feasibility, acceptability, and appropriateness of the Oura ring to inform participants about their sleep. Additionally, we will determine the preliminary efficacy of using the Oura ring as a behavioral intervention tool to improve psychological responses and mental health symptoms

What will be asked of you

Participants will complete demographics questionnaire and other patient reported outcome measures. Participants will receive an Oura ring to wear for a 4-week period. Participants will also have full access to their sleep data through the Oura ring app. They will be instructed to engage with the Oura app through the use of notes and tags and provide context to their sleep behaviors. At the end of each week, participants will complete the same battery of patient-reported outcome measures as well as a feasibility of intervention measure (FIM), acceptability of intervention measure (AIM), and intervention appropriateness measure (IAM). Participants will complete all questionnaires remotely via REDCap through an automated invitation each week (Days 7, 14, 21). At the end of the 4-week period, participants will return to the lab to return the Oura ring and complete the last battery of questionnaires.
