A Pill Study for Eosinophilic Esophagitis

This research study is studying whether budesonide 2mg once daily is as effective as 1mg twice daily for the treatment of Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE)

Age & Gender

  • 18 years ~ 75 years
  • Male, Female, Gender Inclusive

  • Standard business hours (M-F, 8-5)

What will be asked of you

At each visit you will meet with the study team at UNC's campus to receive study drug and/or placebo tablets and complete study assessments including blood draws, physical exams, urine samples, vital signs, and questionnaires. There will also be study endoscopies.
