What will be asked of you

The first visit is done by phone/video when we review the study, consent paperwork, demographics, and screen to see if you can participate. This will take 30 minutes. The second visit is in-person at the clinic. You would arrive 2.5 hours before your IUD insertion time, we will give one set of medications at 2 hours prior, and another set 1 hour prior. Then you will have your standard IUD insertion appointment while being asked about pain levels. We ask about your pain 10 minutes after, and you can leave with no more appointments.
