Memory and Aging Study

In this study, we want to understand how younger and older adults learn and remember objects. We want to learn more about how memory works in adults.

Age & Gender

  • 18 years ~ 85 years
  • Male, Female, Gender Inclusive

Visit Availability

  • Standard business hours (M-F, 8-5)

Location

North Carolina (Statewide)

What will be asked of you

This study involves questionnaires and doing a task on a computer. The study also involves 1 MRI scan.

Incentives

$30 cash per hour for up to 3 hours

Looking for Healthy Volunteers

Requirements for healthy volunteers are different than for those with a specific condition. If you are interested in becoming a healthy volunteer for this study, use the below categories to determine if you are able to participate.

Able to participate:

  • You have not been diagnosed with any DSM-IV psychotic or substance abuse disorders
  • You have normal or corrected-to-normal vision
  • You are right handed

Not eligible if:

  • You have implanted metal devices (e.g., pacemakers, stents, aneurysm clips, cochlear implants)
