Geriatric Functional Assessment System: A Clinician's Perspective

The goal of this interview is to gather a clinician's perspective on the feasibility and potential integration of a new Geriatric Functional Assessment System (GFAS) into their clinical practice. This proposed system is a clinic-based wearable device designed to collect visual and motion data from older adults during their primary care visits that will help assess physical function. Its goal is to collect and process data, apply machine learning, and enable clinicians to identify early signs of functional decline.

What will be asked of you

This study aims to collect information from the perspective of clinicians on the feasibility and potential integration of a new Geriatric Functional Assessment System (GFAS) into their clinical practice. We are hoping to recruit clinicians willing to spend a one-time 20 minute remote session with us at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill at a convenient time for them. We will ask participants to participate in an audio recorded interview session.

Total length of participation:
Approximately 20 minutes
