AWARD Peds Plus

This study is being done to see how safe a study drug is and how well it will work to help people with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM).

Age & Gender

  • 10 years ~ 17 years
  • Male, Female, Gender Inclusive

Visit Availability

  • Standard business hours (M-F, 8-5)

Location

United States (Nationwide)

What will be asked of you

Participants will come in for physical exams, blood draws, questionnaires, and assessments related to T2DM.

8.5 months

Looking for Specific Volunteers

Able to participate:

  • Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus
  • Have tried other therapies to treat T2DM
  • Have HgA1c >7 to <11%
  • Have body weight > 50 kg and BMI >85%

Not eligible if:

  • Have Type 1 Diabetes mellitus or associated autoantibodies
  • Episodes of severe hypoglycemia in past six months
  • Have other medical conditions that could impact participating in this trial
