What will be asked of you

If you decide to join the study, we will do some tests to see if you qualify. If the tests show you don't qualify, you can't join the study, but the study doctor will talk with you about other choices and may refer you back to your own doctor. If the tests show you qualify and you join the study, you will be part of it for about 211 days. This includes up to 28 days to check if you can join, a time when you will get 2 or 3 doses of AMG 691 or a placebo on specific days, and a follow-up visit about 126 days after your last dose to check on your health.
