We are studying language development in toddlers with early language delays and signs of autism. We want to know what helps them gain expressive language over time. We are particularly interested in toddlers from families who receive government assistance like Medicaid, WIC, etc as these families have not often been represented in child development research.
What Participants Will Do: (1) Complete online surveys (2) Participate in 3 home visits for us to complete play-based assessments with your child and look at their brain activity using EEG (3) Each visit will take up to 9 hours of your time, including completing surveys and the in-home visit
$100 for the first study visit and up to $375 for completing all three study visits, We will provide gas reimbursement and a developmental report at the 1st and 3rd visit.
