Black Students Belong Focus Group

This study is gathering information to inform the development of a program to support Black students and their connectedness to school. Black students feel disconnected to school at higher rates than other students. We hope to better understand how to increase connectedness and barriers to designing and implementing programs in schools.

  • 18 years ~ 99 years
  • Male, Female, Gender Inclusive

What will be asked of you

You will be asked to participate in two individual interviews and one focus group. You will also be asked to complete a short survey.

1 month

Looking for Healthy Volunteers

Requirements for healthy volunteers are different than for those with a specific condition. If you are interested in becoming a healthy volunteer for this study, use the below categories to determine if you are able to participate.

Able to participate:

  • Recently graduated from high school
  • Work in a public school (teacher, administrator, counselor, etc.)
  • Parent to a high school student

Not eligible if:

  • None
