We are looking for volunteers to join a study about a new cancer treatment. If you have advanced pancreatic cancer and have already had 4-6 months of chemotherapy, you may be able to participate. We're testing if high-dose radiation therapy works better than usual care. Usual care means either more chemotherapy, standard lower-dose radiation, or just watching and waiting. These treatments can slow down the cancer but might not help people live longer. Radiation therapy uses strong X-rays to kill cancer cells and make tumors smaller. We're studying whether giving higher doses of radiation in a precise way can help people with this kind of cancer live longer. By joining, you can help find new ways to treat pancreatic cancer. Your participation could make a difference for you and others in the future.
We're inviting you to be part of important research. In this study, you'll be randomly placed into one of two groups. Here's what being in the study means: - Every 3 months for the first 2 years, and then once a year for the next 3 years, you'll have a CT or MRI scan. - You'll receive treatment and answer some questions about how you're feeling. - We will also check for any side effects from the treatment. - You might be asked to give blood samples and have a small piece of tumor tissue taken for testing. We appreciate your interest and look forward to your valuable contribution!
